Lockdowns for nothing

It’s been said that history doesn’t repeat, but it does rhyme with itself. It’s ironic that the states in our nation can be divided up into “free” and “slave” once again. But this time it is the more industrialized and densely populated states, which tend to be in the North and on the coasts, that are the “slave” states with regard to Democrat lockdowns and other Covid restrictions, while “flyover country” tends to have the “free” states.

This handy chart shows the folly of it all. Those “free” states that had no lockdowns are very evenly interspersed among the “slave” lockdown states. There was little to no advantage either way. Toward the middle you’ll see the average for all free and for all lockdown states, and there’s hardly any difference in fatality rate between them.

All that pain for nothing. All the businesses gone under, educations interrupted or canceled, people isolated from friends and family. For nothing, that is, unless you count trashing Trump’s roaring economy for political purposes, and conditioning the population for even further social engineering attempts by the globalist political elite running much of the country as worthy goals. Apparently some who fancy themselves Americans do so.
